Single Engine.

Our aim was to produce a single engine cat that is a safe, strong , stable platform that can with stand the rigors of the Australian conditions. It had to be able to be towed by a medium sized car and be able to be used as a recreational/ commercial platform. To achieve this we engaged David Sherwood from Sherwood Marine Design. The 4.5m was the length we decided to begin development on with a view to expand into the 5m range. The results were outstanding. David was able to address all the known issues with the single engine cat concept and produced a performer straight out of the box. Cosmetic changes were the only requirement from prototype to production version. As a result our little cats punch well above there length. The 4.5m offers a ride quality better than a 6m mono. It presents as a very capable versatile vessel and is at home on a dam, in a creek or behind a mother boat at the reef.

Our Single engine range allows for the benefits of twin hulls with the reduced fit out cost of only requiring one engine. Safety is paramount in our design and our vessels comes standard with self draining deck and level floatation. They are fully framed 5083 aluminum hulls professionally custom built to order in Brisbane. Built by Australians for Australian conditions.

Traditional Twin Engine.

6m is the crossover point where we return to the traditional twin engine set up. Our philosophy is that a 6m cat is primarily used offshore and twin engines offer advantages in safety and trim. It's also the minimum size we offer a hard top version on which makes for the perfect offshore weapon. Being custom built allows for the customer to have it exactly as they wish.
